Shot with my Canon PowerShotA85. IBpoppedcollarfag.

Autocross pictures from the Crown event held in Kansas City at Lot L of Arrowhead. These were shot with my friend's Canon EOS 20D. My first time ever touching a dSLR. He let me use it while he ran his car, the red LS1 Camaro Z28, which is Procharged.

I probably could have done significantly better with those AutoX pics had I been given a chance to play with the camera for a while or had a manual to look at. I had no idea what I was doing for a while except zooming, adjusting, and shooting. I can't wait to get my own.

Oh, and in that first pics you used a wrong white balance setting.

Yes, the white balance isn't correct. I like the yellow look.

And I'm a fan of contrast. That's just my style. A lot of my pictures have that dark look.

Don't try passing inconsistencies and errors as style.

Ok. Except I'm not. Look at my deviantART gallery. Besides, the "error" isn't in the photography (except the white balance in pic1), it's how it looks after I'm done playing with it in Photoshop.

how the hell did you do that clone thing.

  19. Tripod
then put camera on timer or use a remote
    then take data to Photoshop
    bam! you have clones!

Most people wear the same clothes so you will know it's a clone. But because he's standing infront of the mirror I guess he figures he doesn't have to go by that rule :dunno:

re-read...he used his A85 for the clone pic which was the pic being referenced for his own style.

the car photos were taken with the "real" camera.

Besides the clone pic being a little fuzzy, its cool. if you don't wanna white balance, more power to you. fuck them.

the car photos are ok, but dof on some are your friend (you'll understand that later). I love the first one with the STi.

The "style" I talked of is with my processing in Photoshop. I am by no means experienced enough to know how to adjust such things on the camera, itself.

And 48, go to my deviantART and tell my I have horrible style again. Obviously it's not the greatest work out there, at all, but I don't think any of those pictures can be called "horrible." Thanks, anyway. Link: http://imbendenton.deviantart.com/gallery

Make sure you get a Canon, no shadow detail, but you get rid of it with contrast++; anyway. :mamoru:
