Everytime I move my shoulder side to side it pops and clicks, Im thinking it might be the rotator cuff, how long and what do I need to do to heal?

same here but it only happens when i move my left arm across my shoulders/body and twist it up/down a bit

it literally feels like it momentarily dislocates

but it hasnt caused me any trouble besides occasional pain when doing side laterals...which I really dont do anymore (or ever have done in abundance)

I've tried that and it didn't do shit... just gonna lay off the WG pull-ups for a bit and do shoulder width.. those don't seem to hurt it

A common cause of clicking/popping is subscapularis dysfunction. Try reaching behind your back and touching your opposite shoulder blade (scapula). If you can't reach it, or if your scapula wings out (sticks out) to do so, then you may have found the culprit.

I don't really know what you mean when you say if the scapula "wings out".. I can touch my opposite shoulder blade but I still have the clicks and pops with that shoulder. Do you know of any other causes of these noises?

if the inside border of the shoulder blade becomes visually prominent, like this

It's just a TEST, not a corrective exercise.

I know that. You said the test was for "subscapularis dysfunction" as that could be a cause of the pain. I was just asking what some other causes could be since I could perform the test and pass...

How could you know that you passed the test if you didn't know what scapular winging was? The other cause for it is minor retardation.
