I will be using DAC/P and SFP on a friend's car, and he's worried about the polish actually stripping off the clear-coat or paint. Do these polishes strip tiny layers of paint or clear-coat? Scott?

Obviously, anything abrasive will remove at least minute amounts of paint, but DACP and SWP are not aggressive enough to remove noticable amounts of paint unless you use a high speed buffer and wool pad and really bear down on it. Both products are clear coat safe.
