I'm not too familiar with cleaning firearms, and unfortunately cleaning kits nor my owners manual explain in detail proper cleaning procedures so I've been hunting online, this is the best I've found so far. Before I use his method's I'd like WMD opinion on how correct his technique it. The only reason why I'm concerned about the quality of advice is I believe in my owners manual it said to NOT lubricate the firing pin, but this guy seems to state that if it's metal, go ahead and lubricate it. So what is WMD's opinion? You can skip Part 1 as that is mainly field stripping, part 2 is cleaning/lubricating, part 3 is completing lubricating and reassembly

    Part 1:

    Part 3:

If anyone knows any better guides, that'd be awesome, I found this site http://www.f-r-i.com/glock/FAQ/FAQ-clean.htm but not enough visual. Thanks

Do not lubricate the firing pin, you chance the oil gunking up and stopping the firing pin.

I've never personally witnessed this, but just avoid it and don't find out. Firing pins are generally cheap, so if by some chance they do wear out, just get another one. You don't want to have the gun not go click when it should if you're life comes to depend on it.

I don't know of any off hand. I'd take one if I had a video camera that wasn't a pain in the ass to get the video off of.
