do you guys swear by using woolite/water mixture for cleaning leather, does it work just as well as a specific leather cleaner????

should I then top it with a conditioner??? or this not necessary???? is the woolite enough to clean/condition?

You can use this, and i have always topped the leather cleaning process with the conditioner. I have cleaned leather on my cars that i see weekly with a very light all purpose interior cleaner. Never had any effect as in leather wearing quickly, peeling etc. I then lightly conditioned the leather with lexol or another similar high quality conditioner. I have one truck that I have been doing for the past 4 years or so and it has well over 100k on it. There is no cracking in the leather anywhere.

I've been using the Woolite/water method (10:1 seems to work best) for 13 years now with no problems. Cleans well, leaves the leather softer too. I always condition after.
