I bought one from radtech. It doubles as a keyboard cover. Well worth it ..

what about for stains...not my stains, but my g/f's brother spits when he talks, i have little wet marks on my screen from it.

i guess my breath and a microfiber would work

    please no.

windex and other ammonia based cleaners are dangerous for coated optics and in fact any non-glass screen or lens.

get some cleaning spray and a cleaning cloth made for coated optics.

    even distilled water would suffice.

ammonia can haze acrylics and optical coatings over time. I'll err on the safe side rather than trashing an expensive display because I'm a cheapass.

seriously, the first guy who said windex is using a 30" cinema display.

i like the screensavrz protecting/cleaning cloth. i've just been using a piece of an old tshirt i cut out to fit. can't stand the keyboard grime that gets transferred to the screen when you shut it.

btw, you've got to be outta your damn mind to try windex on an lcd :noes:

i know i wouldn't use windex on any lcd. CRT's maybe but not lcd's. I ordered both the Screensaverz and the Omnicleanz stuff and i'll post up about how i like them

I use the monster screen cleaner. At first it may seem like it's leaving a residue, but as you wipe, the screen just looks pristine. It's pricey at $20 a bottle, but I use it for all my displays.

Some futureshop monkey tried to sell me that stuff....i had some other stuff that cost $20 for the kit and he comes along, snatches it outta my hand and then gives me the Monster kit (which is about $15 more) and says that that's what they use on all the screens there so that's what i should buy. Little did he know that i never buy anything at futureshop....i was merely doing research. I'd rather pay double somewhere else than buy anything from futureshop.....unless it's reallly on sale and I know exactly what i'm getting.

Damn that's expensive. I think it's $20 a bottle at Best Buy, but it last for a long time. It's the only thing that kept my psp and ds screens looking nice too.
