My mother's husband type dealie's brother has his Class III, since he has that does that mean he'd also have a FFL? I'm thinking of calling up my mom and seeing if she can get that guys brother to do transfers for free for me, or if he'd be willing to dig through his sources for cheaper prices. But I'm kinda new to all this regulation stuff so not sure what requires what. I think it'd be awesome if I can get an in with someone with their FFL lolol. Probably sounds like a newb question.

As far as I know, all Class IIIs are FFLs. Well, on the second thought, I am not sure about the Class III manufacturers as to if they are required to be FFLs.....

The whole Class III thing is a huge tangle of rules and regulations that I have yet to fully understand.... But I am slowly getting there.

Yes, if they are licensed to deal in NFA they have a standard FFL. "Class 3 licensing" is a Special Occupation Tax a dealer pays for the addition to his FFL.
