Are they still mainly reserve units? When I was in I think the only active CA and PSYOPS were at Bragg.

Great majority of them are indeed reserve units. Only active CA I know is Airborne as well...In which case I'd just as soon go PsyOps.

There's a big Psyops unit at Ft Bragg. When I was considering re-enlistment, my units Public Affairs Officer gave me his speech about considering CAS (37F?). Promotion points for SGT (E5) were pretty low and a lot of them were going to Afghanistan. You would also get a chance to go to Airborne school since the Psyops unit at Bragg falls under 18th Airborne Corps.

Yeah, I was on a Lightning Thrust at Schofield and we had a few of the PsyOps with us from Bragg. They were all jump qulaified.
