A&P Circular Polarizers; Is This What I Want?

    All the ones on there are just slight variations (ie different coatings, different types of glass, etc.) Obviously a B+W will be better than a Hoya, but for most purposes I think a Hoya would be fine. It's funny you ask now, I just made a thread about it recently. :mamoru:

    How long are you going to keep your kit lens for? If not long I wouldnt spend too much on the polarizer.

    It's going to have to last me the summer, I'm not looking into buying another lens until fall. I'm moving out and working on paying down debt, new glass is not really a big priority at the moment.

    If it were me I would then go for the hoya. No point in spending 100$ on something your not going to use in 5 months

    For use with the kit lens, I would go with the Hoya.

    I use a B+W Circular Polarizer Multi-Coated (MC) Slim Glass Filter on my 18-200
