So I bought a 70-200mm f2.8 IS USM manufacture date Feb 08 :bigthumb: and my 40d/grip out to the Zoo today. This is what I came up with.

    My Rig.

    My fav.

They were fighting, it was entertaining.

Right before this, they got their horns mixed up in each others.

What do you mean you forgot the chicken nuggets?

    This cat was pissed.

This was crazy, they fed the ants on one side of the building, than they walked the leaves to the other tank on the other side of the building to thier colony/nest place. This is them entering the tunnel.

Since it was the offseason, they had peacocks walking around doing whatever, they are not afraid of people at all, it was weird.

    Diamondback Rattle snake

This thing roared and I nearly shit my pants.

I like the lion picture more than the others. Can you post it larger? With a little more background maybe?

You get used to it, shoveling all this damn snow we had up here killed me and had me hurting the next day, but it made it feel lighter so :bigthumb:.

Haha thanks. You couldnt make it big enough. I think large cats are absolutely amazing. I also like the snow (im guessing its snow?) in the background haha. A nice break from their usual habitat.

I love that' it's not just a flat lot with animals in it... all the habitats are all very nice and well laid out, and the property itself is very nice.... just to bad like I said it's kinda in the ghetto.

A tad on some, the peacock ones are right off the camera.

The first half of the day was cloudy and cold.

Speaking of the hood, instead of parking in the zoo parking lot, I opted to park on the street next to it. There was a tab bit of snow on the ground that wasn't plowed because a car was broken down on the street. So I parallel parked in front of the car, I decided that this wasn't where I wanted to park so I pulled out... I was stuck in the snow. 6 total guys walked around the car, when i was trying to free my tire. None of them helped but none of them saw my N4. I was :noes:
