    Whats really crazy is that he pulled that conventional. He usually pulls sumo.

    Why did he bother benching with the injury? Was it just to get on the podium?

    Yeah... he was trying to break the squat record, which he did, but he needed to take at least a token bench to stay in the meet. You need to have a complete lift in each category to get a total.

    1140 squat, 145 bench, 820 dead :rofl:

    looked it up, said he missed 600 & 650. I remember reading an interview, think it was wendler? asking him why his bench sucked "fucking shirts don't work". What's his best bench?

    Oh wow... I didnt know he took any attempts. Chucks bench has always sucked, hes only a mid 6 shirted bencher, when he can get an attempt in.
