    1. That's not a "shoot". Please don't use that word again in this context. Taking a snapshot of a minivan in a mall parking lot at mid-day will NEVER be a "shoot"*

    2. It's a hideous subject and not worth the exposure or effort.

    3. It's a hideous location showing no thought or attention to detail whatsoever. Minivan in the background, parking lot stripes, light poles and trees coming out of the roof. Gross.

    4. It's a crappy day to take a picture with overcast, flat, dull, lifeless light and it looks like it was shot at exactly the worst part of the day in early afternoon.

    5. The car appears to be dirty with brake dust on the wheels. (although that might be vignetting. See #8)

    6. Bad, distracting reflections from a failure to use a polarizer.

    7. To compensate for the horrible light the photo has had the contrast bumped up far too much in Photoshop causing blown highlights on the hood.

    8. The vignetting was apparently used to reduce the background distractions, but it's heavy handed and badly done and clearly doesn't do the trick.

    9. Either no selection mask was used for the vignetting or it was poorly done as the edges are clearly visible and they overlap the subject in some areas.

    10. Finally, is this supposed to be a color, black and white, duotone or split tone photograph? The color balance looks completely whacked out.

    There you go. You asked.

*If that's a typo and you meant to say "shot" then ignore #1.

Thank you for the criticism, but no need to get aggravated, man. Yeah, I meant to say shot, and it was just a random snap on a rainy day. Well, at least now I know what NOT to do for the next shot :wavey:

Btw, anyone have tutorials/tips for shooting cars? I'm still a noob in the photography scene, and any knowledge would be great.

Not thrilled with the shot, but I drove my sister's '05 some last week and really enjoyed it. :)
