I'm wondering if ab work needs to be added into christophers routine at some point or does all that squatting work your abs enough to not need it? thanks as always

You don't need to worry about isolating anything yet. They'll get worked just fine for now.

If you concentrate on lifting like is mentioned in that thread your abs will get a workout.

well, talk about your differences in opinion. One thing I've noticed since I have started getting involved in this whole lifting/bodybuilding/fitness thing is that people rarely agree on anything when it comes to training.

In all honesty, you really don't need to.

because it varies person to person. Most people would say squats and deads are more than enough core work. I'd listen to someone that squats 600 lbs over someone that squats 300 lbs on something like this though

Who in this thread squats 600lbs??? christophers has said several times that if you feel like adding abs, add them. If abs or core are your weak point, which is the case with alot of lifters, they can hold back several lifts. So if they are your weak point, add them. If they are tough as nails, all is good. Just remember, washboard abs can look good, but they are not always STRONG...
