So I have been looking for a good Christmas present for dad, grandpa, and my gf's dad. I have been debating on picking up a nice flashlight for them. I am torn. Every one of them will be using the light in the field, going to the barn, etc. I have narrowed it down to these.

-PentagonLight X3 135 Lumen Xeon light
    Or
    - SureFire 9P 101 Lumens

Also, is there a cheaper but better alternative? If you have a better suggestion let me know.

The brinkman lights at target actually have pleased me. $20-25 or something like that, nothing to cry about it you lose one in the field, pick up some rechargeables and you're gold.

THe big thing to ask is, will they be willing to track down CR123's? And know how to buy them online for cheaper than at the store?

For that reason I set most people up with either mod'd LED Mag's or something rechargeable.

Fenix FTMFW. I've got multiple lights from them and for the money they're just as good as any other brand

EDIT: not affiliated with them in any way. Just really like their lights. and more affordable than Surefire. https://www.fenix-store.com/

Go with the EagleTac T10C2. Take it from someone who has no life and spent hours researching this crap....this one definitely comes out on top and you can look up the tests to see for yourself.
