I just downloaded a movie from the HD showcase from MS and also the Elephant dream HD version and it's pretty skippy and causes my cpu to run at 100% cpu (opty 144 at 2.2, x800xl, 1gig ram)

I tried in VLC and WMP but same results in both.. does anyone have a clue? I have all the latest drivers installed. mobo vid etc...

    Using WMP 11
    I have the 3ivx D4 4.5.1 codec, and Xvid 1.1 koepi's version..

    What's wrong :(

doubt it. an opty at 2.2 is pretty much a A64 3500+... I remember a while back a tweak that enabled the hd decoding with the ati cards. I know it can work. but why isn't it working now :(
