post your blood work stats. (personally curious how i compare with other OT members who eat healthy)

    ldl: 131
    hdl: 68
    triglycerides: 68
    total chold. serum: 230

4 years ago, weighing 10lb more , i had hdl 50 and ldl 100, dont remember total ... strange

Your ratio is still about the same, so I wouldn't stress it.

230-199 = 31 point ildl - vldl rate which has me worried , even though hdl level is ok

(fyi vldl is VERY ldl... even higher risk for heart disease) .. vldl/ildl turn into ldl at the end

    interesting study:
    http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=3265427

sunlight converts the cholesterol on your skin to hormone precursors (three precursors, in all, including Vitamin D) which are used to make substances like testosterone. The cholesterol in your bloodstream then migrates to the surface of the skin, to replace the cholesterol that was converted.

thankfully i live in rotterdam which is similar to seattle weather!!! :(
