Chiropractic or Osteopathy for bad lower back?

    Not sure which would be better for pain caused by lifting. Best as I can tell it's mostly muscular pain in the lumbar region, though I also get the odd spasm which I assume is spinal.
    Any recommendations in the north-west? (links to websites if poss).
    Also, does anyone know if they have to inform your doc? I want to keep any treatment off my medrecs if possible. Bad backs being anathema to employers.

    I threw my back out 3x in less than one year. Had two herniated discs. Doctors didn't do shit, started going to a Good chiropractor and have been good to go ever since. Try it

    Go to a sport's medicine doctor for a diagnosis and go from there.

    osteopath > chiro.

    chiros can't do much for you if its muscle related. you're better off with an RMT even.
