    Well my chipset fan decided that it wanted to take a shit and die on me the other week. Now i'm having problems with overheating. Whats the best way to stop this?

    replace it with a crystal orb or blue orb by thermaltake.

    my crystal orb is extreamly silent. i have it mounted on my video card
