are these chips good for you for a snack?
for a super bowl party a brought my own home made chips, a lavash bread that was toasted to be hard and broken up... with hummous dip on the side...
if your going to have a dip which usually has fat that is un-molested, i dont think there is a need for your chips to contain fat, which has the oils usually heated up or processed.
it was a success in a crowd of 60
been eating pita+hummus atleast twice a week O_O
i can eat anything and not get fat anyways
so chips are a bad idea, but the hummus by itself for a midday snack ?
now, give it 10 years.
heh i know a PT for a bball team who ran 14min 5ks, 2:20 marathon , 50 mile races 10 years ago, and still runs. but he gained 60lb in the 10 years and is questioning me why... and this guy is going to pizza hut, eating oreos, same diet for the past 10 years... that calories are some what burned off by his routine (at least a 10k every day), but the shit collects up and hits you some time.
accord: those chips can be macroed in.... but how many people know how to do that? better to go with a pita-lavash bread or rye cracker (wasa brand) to be safe. Id be careful of hummous to.... as cheap ones ahve unncessary fats added... i buy mine from an arabic store... jsut ground sesame seeds and garbanzo beans... and if need be trader joes low fat versions.
