A&P Chinese Lantern Festival Pics

    Took these at Ontario Place last week. They've got this amazing lantern show there, tons of chinese "sculptures" made from silk. If anyone's in the Toronto area, I suggest going to see it, lots of photographic material.

  2. It looks like it was alot of fun. This was in Ontario!!??! I'm suprised my ontario friend never told me anything about this! :hs:

    I went there as well so many photographers!

    However my picture didn't turn out that great, what settings were you guys using? I kept mine at Apeture Priority and set the Apeture to the Max but it was still getting a good sharp/uniform coloured picture :hs:

    I had a P&S with no control of aperture/shutter speed settings, and no tripod. A lot of my shots came out blurry/dark in places where I wanted it to be light.

    If I could, I would've gone for shutter speed priority if I didn't have a tripod, and aperture if I did. But I've never shot with a dslr before, so this is all theoretical nonsense :greddy:
