Are they any good?
Yeah....if you're looking for a 5-cyl.
Someone at work had a loaner.
Very weak on the low end.
Lots of leg room up front (I'm 6').
I am not looking for something to haul 11ty billion pounds nor the fastest truck, i just want to know compared to the other trucks the same price how does it stack up
I was in the market for one before but decided against it for personal reasons but the actual truck itself is pretty respectable.
I don't get why they didn't put the 6 from the suv in the trucks.
either get a dakota, or wait til they offer the 4.2 I6.
Said it before, and I'll say it again. No turbo I-5, no care.
It's a fucking TRUCK. It wasn't made to be fast. So saying it sucks or saying "no care" just because it doesn't have a turbo is stupid. If you look at why GM designed it, they did a good job IMO.
Man, is it ever ....and this is coming from a Tacoma driver!!
I must say that they did a pretty good job on the exterior, I took an X-cab all-black off-road version I-5 that was catching my eye for a run a few days ago and I couldn't believe the overall cheapness of the interior, it was just ridiculous.
I would never buy one based on that fact alone. Just go check one out on the lot and you'll see what I'm talking about.
Another Tacoma here.
I think the Colorado's are nice and all, but the front end is the absolute ugliest fucking piece of shit I've ever seen.
Other than that, they're sweet-ass trucks. The interiors are huge and roomy
I've heard that it's too long for the engine compartment
hopefully GM will offer either a 3.5T or a v8 colorado before too much longer
Yes, you're right, the I6 is too long to fit the *current* engine bay. It wouldn't be impossible to fit it though....if they took a couple inches from the cab and added a couple inches to the front end, you'd hardly notice.
