So I have a Camaro and it's a 1995. I don't have any pictures at the moment but would you say this is a model that has good resell value? My x b/fs cousin we did the engine a year ago but I wanna buy one of the new hot maros.

Careful... driving a 2010 might make you seem unattainable to all the guys at the Trailer Park....

    is it an lt1, or a v6?

if it is a v6 its not worth shit, if its an lt1, you can probably sell it for $4000 if its in perfect condition with low miles

correct. transmission, interior condition, and overall condition could make a huge difference in value. well conditioned 6 speed lt1's are quite rare and will fetch you more $$

6 speed well maintained lt1s with good leather, average miles, and full options are worth between 5 and 9 k on autotrader.

the typical beaten, 4speed autos with cloth interiors are worth crap.

you would have to be an idiot to pay 9k for a LT1 car, regardless of the shape

MAYBE a super low mile true SS. maybe.

no other lt1 is worth more than 5 grand, regardless.

i've seen a mint 97 ws6 loaded with leather and 6speed with 30k miles go for 10k. it all depends on the market.

I'm not hating on LT1s as I owned one for four years...but come on dude, most of them are in the $2-4k range. It's hard to come across a nice one.

it is hard to come across a nice one, especially a nice 6 speed - that's why the really mint low mile 6speed leather seated ones are 5-9k.

Shit, I sold my 1996 Camaro (3800 V6, but still) for $2000 back in 2000. My wife sold her '96 Trans-Am (LT1 w/ suspension package) for $4000 back in like '02 as well. Sadly, those 4th gens just don't hold value, but if you're going to the the Chevy dealer I bet you can talk them into overpaying you for a trade-in on a new Camaro.

the only 4th gens that dont hold their value are the 97 and below

and good luck trying to talk a dealer into giving you more money for a trade, that will never happen, i dont think dealers like to lose money on cars
