Chest exercises v.No Spotter

    I need some chest exercises that i can do with out a spotter..

    so basically wont be doing anything including with a barbell..

    At the moment i'm doing :

    - flat dumbell press
    - inclince dumbell press
    - flat flys
    - cable crossovers..

    Any other exercises?

    I just go with dumbells instead of barbells when I'm lifting alone. I still do regular bench and incline, just with dumbells.

    Yea you just have to know your limits.

    Since I bought a rack and set the pins to the proper height, if I drop the weight I don't die. :eek3:

    oh and just ask someone for a spot... its a gym

    either a rack lockout or ask someone to spot. most of the big guys at the gym seem to be happy to spot and as an added benefit, they actually know how to properly spot a person.

    my bench is finally improving now that i have a reliable workout partner to spot me.

    i avoid spotters at all costs on bench. most mess up the hand off or scream at you and deadlift the bar the entire time

    I have not had a spotter in years. Almost never use one except for ME/PR days.

    Would love to find a solid workout partner though.

    Agreed.. unless i KNOW you .. and know you know how to spot me.. No way do i ask for a spot on bench.
