I'm goin for a 3 day total body lifting plan for now. I will modify it as needed. I plan on doin the 4x8, and see how it works out. Here is what i got so far:

    Monday:
    Barbell Curl
    Tricep Pushdown
    Incline Press
    Cable rows
    Shrugs
    Squats

    Wednesday:
    Preacher Curls
    Skull Crushers
    Flat Bench
    Bent_OVer Rows
    Military Press
    Good Mornings

    Friday:
    Concertration Curls
    Overhead Cable Extensions
    Seated Flys
    Lat Pulldowns
    Barbell Upright Rows
    Deadlift

I will be working out at home. I have a decent cable machine, 2 benches, and about 400-500lbs in weights. I needed some bigger ones though, i have too many 10 and 15 pound plates. I also will be adding abs in every workout. I need to lose some weight also so on my "off" days i will be running, playing basketball, etc.

My diet needs the most modification. I'm a heavy eater!! I'm goin to drop all the snacks and pop ASAP. I know it will be hard, but i'm goin to push myself alot. I went today and bought plenty of chicken breast, tuna, bottled water, and a few other odds and ends.

Now for the pics. Please be gentle:drool:. I have already lost 40-50 pounds, so i'm getting there.

Not too bad routine-wise but I would big the big exercises first.. i.e. do the squats first and the curls last

you should consider tricep dips and close grip bench press for tricep movements as well. pull ups/chin ups for back.

How serious are you about losing weight?

If so, it's easier to accomplish if you have a routine for your cardio instead of just doing random stuff every day.

    What is your final goal?

Well, i started at 298, and as of this morning i was 257. I would really like to get to about 220lbs. I have a heavy bag, huge running are in my backyard, and a basketball hoop at my house. I will be mainly training at home for now. I was goin to make it more of a structed plan, but i want to get 1-2 weeks into my routine.

Are you aware that the kanji for strength in and of itself is not a word?

I'm trying to lose weight and have seen some pills, powders, etc. I take Multis, and plan on getting some Fish Oil, but anything else come to mind??? I was checking out Hot Rox Extreme, but not sure if i want to waste the money if the shit doesn't work.

don't worry about fat burners yet. in relative terms, you just started.

get that diet in order. if you want some more natural shit to aid you, look into some green tea extract, caffeine, and lecithin
