I'm not sure about checking it from your own website, but if your Exchange server has Outlook Web Access setup, then you point your browser to http://yourmailserver.com/exchange/

Some ISP's provide an interface as well.

Why not just use webmail when your away and outlook when your home? Outlook is a program, which means it grabs from the mail server. If you grab it, it's no longer there. Web mail keeps it there untill you delete it. Hope you see the obvious distinction.

    not excatly true....

u can make outlook not remove emails from u're server... so u can basically have outlook set up at any # machines checking one account (only one machine can use the account at the same time)... and you would get the same email everywhere....

The downside is that you only ever have one copy of the sent email with that example, with the collection being on every computer you've ever written an email on.
