In 1987 BMW imported approximatly 1200 US M6 models. This is an extremely nice example of this car. They made three colors, Zinnobar Red, Black and the very rare Royal Blue.

This M6 is in extremely nice condition, show detail engine, the paint is fabulous as well as the Lotus White interior.

New Michelins and no scuff marks on the wheels. E-mail for more info or pictures. Serious buyers only please.

very beautiful. but it's just unjustifiable to pay $26,000 for a 17 year old car for me.

If you rely on KBB for small-run collector cars, you have some priceless crack.

    according to www.NADAguides.com

the high retail value for a 1986 m6 $21,300. They don't include 1987, so it might be even higher.

    Again, worthless.

You can't look to guides like that for niche vehicles.

Also, there was no 1986 M6. There was a 1986 M635csi but it was not officially imported.

    just curious

how much did they sell for brand new?

    87-88s range in price from 11k - 27k :hsugh:

pardon my ignorance, but what makes them so special aside from the rarity factor?

    http://bmwworld.com/models/m6.htm explains

The 87s went for around $57k while the '88s went up to about $63k, I think. In today's dollars its between $90 and $95K.

    Highest price: $29900
    Lowest price: $7500
    Average price: $16607

    :o

looks like milage makes the difference in price but all sellers claim their cars are in excellent condition.

It's fairly accurate for Ferrari's and other classic cars. Barret-Jackson uses it on their website. I'm not saying it's very accurate, but in most cases it can you give a decent ballpark figure:dunno:

Yeah, that's what they had listed.
