Cheat day important?

    You can look at it one of two ways...

    1) Since now I don't think even eating clean in necessary... a cheat day is superfluous if not redundant.
    2) If you are eating clean for weight loss... a cheat day has psychological benefits but I still don't think its necessary hence not important. I am differentiating between a cheat day and carbup day or refeed here.

    Also i have no problem not cheating if all it does is make you think you are doing good or something?

    Before when I would eat clean/ strict I found that the cheat day just weakened my will and brought back the cravings even stronger.

    i didnt really have any problem with it or without it so i think im just gonna skip it.

    If you're doing an extreme low carb diet its important to have a refeed every so often.

    i probably get 150 carbs a day at least.

    i think a cheat day is important to a certain extent, every once in a while it's nice to have, but at the same time you have to be careful, cos physcologically you might like to do it more than you'd want to, just cos the food tastes good.
