cheapest power supply mfg that isn't complete shit?

    i need a low-end power supply. doesn't need to load too much, and its a project box, so i don't want to spend too much on it, but i don't want a complete POS. what is the cheapest brand to look for that still has a shred of quality/dignity in their equipment.

    sparkle, enermax, those 2 tend to be a bit cheaper, but the power supply is the last part you should skimp on.

    enermax is usually on the more expensive side. Sparkle is going to be the cheapest "quality" manufacturer.

    I wouldn't skimp on a vital part like that. Actually if you're skimping on any parts for comps bad stuff can happen.

    sparkle is not a skimp...

    antec is a skimp.

    ultra is a skimp.

    but not sparkle.
