The Food Lion grocery store, sometimes on sale for $1.79-1.99lb, I buy a crapload when it does and keep it frozen. Normal price is under $3/lb somewhere.

This is what I do. We've found that this is actually much cheaper than Sam's or Costco when it goes on sale. Just need to buy a bunch of it when it's on sale and freeze. Best to freeze in individual or 2 serving ziplocks for easy thawing.

I usually buy 12lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast a week @ $2.29lb. I cook about 6 pounds at a time and will only eat 2lbs a day. I also use 1 slice of bacon (saturated fat) for each breast to help with the fat loss process. Then to throw in some flavor to mix with the chicken, I will use either 4tbsp of low carb bbq sauce or mesquite flavored bqq sauce.

I smoke it at 225 degrees with a combo of charcoal and apple wood until it hits ~170 internal temp.

Usually brushed with lime juice to tenderize, and course ground peppercorns/sea salt...

    mmmmmm....

How about fish? Tilapia and salmon are great but can get a little pricy. I eat more fish than chicken ftw!~
