I usually just guy the Mother's clay bar package with detailing spray for $20 at the local Kragen, but was wondering if there was something cheaper that did the same thing? I like to clay everything. :o

Kragen? :wtf: To answer your question, yes. There is a cheaper and better product, it's called Clay Magic. You can get it at AutoZone, it's around $9.

Walmart just started carrying Clay Magic too. The kit comes with a 100mg bar and a 12oz bottle of lube for $9.47 plus tax.

Their pro bar is about $25 or so. Nice container, 200 gram bar and sticky as hell. It is really meant for paint overspray more than just imbedded grit. No lube either.

I just ordered the Clearkote Clay Bar system-200 gram bar and 16 oz of Quikshine. I'll test it out and post a review when I use it. I think it runs about $30, but 200 grams is about the size of two regular bars and it also has a nice container to strore it in.
