I'm trying to find a good deal on green tea, I usually get everything at Sam's Club but they dont have Green Tea in capsules for some reason. Do you guys think this deal is good?

    http://www.bulknutrition.com/?products_id=2692

Shipping is $5 but I'll probably order a few bottles to get my moneys worth.

nothing wrong with drinking tea, though to get high doses of EGCG is not easy with brewed tea (content can vary significantly as well) and there is the flouride issue with brewed tea intake.

I was actually just looking into green tea capsules today. Has anyone taken them and noticed their benefits?

fat loss benefits are noticable (how much depends on user and dosage).

health benefits may be noticeable (really user dependant)

actual impact will be related to dose and response. estimates run at 3-10% increase in BMR. However those do not account for impacts on glucose clearance (thus insulin) and increased rate of fatty acid utilization during endurance exercise.

anyone know how much EGCG is in the NowFoods capsules? the stuff on AF looks pretty good, but it's twice the cost...

it was interesting to see that each capsule has 16mg caffeine...i know myself and others on this board wondered about that a long while back...

the now caps have somewhere between 10 and 25% egcg, likely leaning more toward 10% (have seen that catechin profile with 25% egcg but most of the time its 10 or 15%).

for EGCG content you wont find a better priced product than at the AFSTORE

for an even better deal consider Levorex (high EGCG content with ALCAR and other goodies)

green tea LOVES flouride (soaks it up), if the soil has a high flouride content so does the leaf. Extraction removes a good deal of it (though extracts still have flouride), whole leaf and cutting can have very high levels (also because you generally take more- tea bag has 10-15 grams of leaf- there is more fluoride).

its really only an issue with high whole tea consumption (from moderate to high flouride cultivated soils)
