me and my friend are looking to buy a cheap starter kit to polish and take out surface scratches in both our cars paint.
i'm completely out of the loop on detailing, and would like to spend under $200 for everything if possible. something that i can't burn through my paint with would be nice, haha.

    thanks in advance

theres always deals on autogeek.. there's various starter packages for the PC 7424 too.

The portal cable wont burn the paint.. pretty newb friendly and tons use it.

I would go with the new G110.......same price that PC was a year ago and it has tons more power. Get it and a bottle of #105 and a bottle of Ultrafina SE and you're set for anything.

    Here it is......

It actually comes with 6 pads now!

Yes, the UDM is very noob friendly. They might still be selling refurbished units for $89.95.

UDM is my first (and only) dual action polisher. Super easy to use, and comes with a great set of instructions.
