    you can get old used glocks for around that price and it would be a whole lot better then having a kel-tec/sw sigma/etc.

    I guess if you're not opposed to buying something used you can get a number of proven reliable guns like a Glock which has been mentioned.

    After inspection, if a gun proves in working order and reliably so...I don't understand why you wouldn't trust Brand A over Brand B. I understand caliber differences and ergonomics, etc. But if the gun shoots well for me and never has any problems I don't much care who puts their name on it. I say trust more in your own inspection and testing than in a hefty price tag and any sense of guarantee it gives you.

    Just saying...I've no realy brand preference as of yet.
