My 740iL's heater blower is going kablooie. Dealer says 500-800...I'm thinking maybe I can do it myself, but the Bentley repair manual is 83 at Amazon, and more elsewhere.

Does anyone know a good place to buy these cheap, or can suggest other repair means?

You have a 740il and are quibbling about the price of a repair manual?

    :squint:

Bentleys are supposed to be the best. Unless you can get your hands on a BMW shop manual, just get the Bentley (or look on ebay).

Haynes are OK, but are not super-detailed.
