I use that. Carries the AR with room to spare in terms of length. Has just
enough height for the AR with scope. I've put 7 30rd mags in it with extra
ammo, 1 9mm XD with 4 mags and a couple hundred rds of ammo. The 3 bags
on the outside (where I store mags) are detachable for mounting on molle
    gear.

Ive got a Wolf Ammo brand one. I think it was like $30 shipped from SG. Motherfuckers had it backordered for like a month though :madfawk:

Edit: I think HQ or somebody also had military AR drop bags for like $20 also. Look kinda neat. Dont know cat number though

I've got the Wolf one too, along with some other brand in the same type style, and a Nike tennis racket bag :o and a couple drop bag style ones(nice for shooting outdoors doubles as a mat) need another one though been thinking about the Molle one like Rich posted or this one http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/CASE015-2619-859.html

I got bored this morning and thought "just what can I get into my bag?"

    Here's the results.

    1 AR 15 w/scope
1 Walther P99 (+ 2 mags, room for many more)
1 Springfield XD9 (1 loader, +4 mags, room for more)
    7 AR 15 30rd mags
    1 AR 15 20rd mags
300rds Remington .223 in plastic case (could hold more in other type of carrier)
    500rds Remington 9mm

    That's a total of:

    So you're looking at about 530 rounds of .223, 564 rounds of 9mm, 24 rounds of .40sw (I don't have much .40 right now).

It weighed in at about 45lbs on the scale fully loaded.

    Pics:

The AR. Reasonably snug, plenty of room for a longer upper. I may
mod the velcro straps to hold it a bit tighter but it works, I've never had
any problems with the AR moving.

Middle Molle bag is pretty big, 7 30rd mags + my little 20rd

The Remington 223 comes in those plastic rails. Could fit more in the cardboard
    bandoliers for some XM :)

Pistols/mags are in the pouches under these boxes.

    Full and buttoned up.

This is how I normally put the pistols in there(except in the pouches). There's no guides in the pouches
but again, it's tight enough that they don't bang around.

This is what I managed to get in, laid out for you guys to give you an idea
    of the capacity.

yeah it's got some loops on the back side of it that would be great for mounting
a machete. Maybe I should pick one of those up later today.

yeah....I'm happy with it. At first I wanted a Pelican and all that stuff but
whatever, my $40 bag carries a ton of stuff and does it well. It was $35 in
store when I got it if I remember correctly.

That's a little more than I would shoot at the range, especially the AR. At
100 yards it doesn't get too terribly exciting anymore.

But the quantity.....yeah, it's a good amount for a $40 bag, not enough to
    scare myself though :)
