I worked it out, and it would take like 7000 rounds to make up my money on a reloader. Plus alot of my time.

I got it last year sometime. I just got all those sessy goodies for it! :eek5:

.223 would be far more cost effective to reload, yes, but this thread is about nine millimeter fun.

Do you only plan to shoot < 7000 rounds in this year? or even lifetime? I suppose it all depends on how much you shoot and how often you would like to shoot.

There will come a point were it will not only pay for itself, you will start gaining on it. Think of it as a long term investment. I don't have many extra gadgets or guns laying around, but I am very proficient with my guns I do have. :)

    Just sayin...

And on top of that, it's a really cool/fun hobby and I use it to relax. Ammo prices will never go back down and will only go up. I'm not posting this to front, It's a good idea for me to promote it, because the more reloaders we have, the better the economy is for reloading and the more we can see them in commercial stores, etc. Good all around.

If I shot 7000 rounds this year I would be so happy... But I won't. I bought $1100 in plane tickets this month, and it's SERIOUSLY cramping my gun buying.

it would make sense for me to reload since i shoot probably 18-22 thousand rnds a year. but as of right now i got a good middle eastern buddy with an ammo connect. got my blazer brass for 7.50/box, the few thousand rnds in my closet should do for a few months.

Your middle eastern buddy needs to send me some 7.62 and .223 for cheap prices like that.

I have never seen 9mm Blazer at Walmart. Must just be the ones I've got around here.
    Plenty of WWB though.

lol my ammo guy knows somebody, them desi people are usually distributors or know distributors so they get shit at cost all the time. but its been dry lately. he goes to the extent of reboxing the ammo in another box so i dont know where its coming from. lol. but i've seen "blacked out" receipts so its all legit.
