I have and Envision LCD 17" monitor. Well the resolution is at 1024x768 right now. When I try to go to something higher, it tells me "Input Not Supported". The monitor is capable of way over there (don't remember the exact resolution). Any ideas?

LCD's don't look so great in anything other than their native res anyway. Seeing that it's 17" I wouldn't be surprised if that res is 1024x768.

    aren't 17" LCD's native resolution 1280 x 1028

    I had a 15" and it's native res. was 1028 x 768
    my 17" Hitachi CML174B is 1280 x 1028

    :dunno:

There's no set one for 17's in general. Some are 1024x768, and some are 1280x1024, but it's very very unlikely to go any higher (native).

Bust out the manual for that thing and see what the native resolution is. If it is higer than 1024x768, see if there are some drivers on the webpage for it. After installing the drivers, see if Windows will allow you to set the res higher.
