changing existing partitions w/ partition magic

    would i be able to adjust the size of the partitions i've set for my linux n NTFS windows files on my second HD w/ Partition magic or a similar program w/o deleting the files within the partitions??
    i gave Linux like over 10 GB n i want to reduce it to about 5GB n give more to windows.......
    is it possible

    Yes. Partition Magic can change partition sizes on the fly, without loss of data.

    Although I'm not entirely sure if it's compatible with NTFS partitions. But the program will tell you right away if it can't read the partition.

    PM8 has support for NTFS and ext2/3.

    I used PM and it failed in the middle of the conversion. Lost everything

    PM is like playing russian roulette with a semi-auto... its never worked for me. ive had hdd's with no bad sectors, not fragmented, fuck up with that program...

    I used PM8 a while back and anytime I tried to resize my ext3 partition from 10G to 5G it said "Improper authority" and then once while in the middle of a NTFS resize it Sneezed and the entire 30G NTFS partition was corrupt and the MBR got SNAFU'd and the ext3 partiton didn't wanna co-operate at all.

    I reccommend Partition Magic 8










    to my enemies.
