Changing a boot cut to straight leg...

    I have a pair of True Religions that are fit good and i like except they are boot cut so i hardly wear them. what would one expect to pay to change the cut? And is this even doable i am to tailor so i have not a clue

    tailor's can do it, it doesn't cost that much, I don't know exact costs because I did other alterations at the same time. Maybe $10-$15?

    I was going to buy a pair of R&R and have them brought up and the bottom narrowed. It's common.

    Can you get jeans tailored at department stores? Like main ones in malls (Macy's, Nordstroms, etc)

    Some stores have their own tailors but they'll just take them off you and send them in....

    A lot of the times they just send it to nearby tailors anyways, it would be cheaper if you just went directly to the tailor.

    I know for sure Nordstrom has an in-house tailor in every store. I can imagine others do as well.

    So you could just take in any brand of jean, and specify the measurements I guess that you want, (or switched from bootcut to straight leg), and then they just call when you when they're done?
