A&P cf card speed question (for a75)

    how do i check what is the fastest speed the camera can write at? so i don't spend money on a 60x card for no reason.

    according to canon anything above 12x camera will not take advantage of

    a faster card will still reduce the time to view the images and download them, and on some models will help extend the movie mode

    Your camera also can't read more than a 256MB card.

    On your camera a highspeed card would be useless. They are mainly only used for rapid fire multiple shots on DSLRs.
