I was having freezing problems so I system restored and it fixed that. Now as I go to write my paper and re-install MS Word, I notice my comp doesn't seem to realize my CD-Drives exsist. Any solutions or reasons why this happened?!?

Argh, I forgot to do this...

    AMD Athlon processor

    The 2 drives are: LG DVD-ROM DRD8080B and SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-140.

I noticed that they are there when my comp starts up, but then the comp will freeze and they will be gone. My comp also occasionally freezes when starting up, usually when it says Detecting IDE Drives.
