Ok for quiet some time my CD drive has not worked. Basicly it just stoped reading CD's one day. I thought it was the drive so i get a new one install in connect to mobo/power suspply and everything.

POS but its a new drive so should drop fine for my needs.

I go to instal hardware and it shows up at the yellow ! after i browse so this means driver problem...problem is can't find no drivers...and im not even sure this could fix it.

    Can anyone please help?

Run Windows Update and do a Custom scan. It will find the drivers, if any exist. Also, the exclamation mark doesn't ALWAYS mean there's a driver problem.
