cd burner problems

    do cd burners wear out?

    lately when i burn cd's (audio) the first 4 or 5 tracks burn fine, but all the rest have a flickering sound on them or they dont play . wtf? can anyone help a nga figure out what the fuck is going on

    yes, they do.

    Could also be bad discs.

    I have had good luck with TDK, Maxell, and Verbatim.

    i have usually had great luck with memorex.....i'm thinking this is more of a laser issue. i have tried cleening it but it still does the same shit. maybe its time to upgrade to a dvd burner combo.

    any suggestions?
