took this at school today, cc please. thanks!
if the mountains were closer, or there were cool looking clouds...etc it would be good.
but, as it sits now, its boring. There is nothing to look at or draw your attention to, other then a white line on the grass.
i think thats the point
I like it. I would love to see one with a foreground subject too but this one has it's whole own thing going on.
I think it's cool.
i would hang this in my bathroom....
good work, good colors.
thanks for the feedback fellas
I like the colors, it looks peaceful.
Meh. I dont like the line. It leads my eye off the side of the picture...
pretty boring. Otherwise, nice shot.
I like it.
Get an interesting motive in that environment and you'll have a great picture.
The white line is distracting to me but I like it.
Good use of the rule of thirds. I would have liked to see the batting cage up closer though.
i love the colors, and the photo has a peaceful empty feeling to it.
so i entered this for the annual school photo contest... and almost 3 months later, i won a certificate and a pat on the back for honorable mention.. cant believe a professor the history department won
oh i'm jason by the way.
there were some good entries..
and I like your picture btw...like someone said above, its the nice empty peaceful feeling that it gives off.
its good but boring subject
I like it.
It looks like just a normal school field and then you see the distant mountains - it makes it quite surreal to me
On the contrary to boring, I think it's interesting.
I really like how empty is it. Like others said, it feels peaceful.
I like it. Simple and colorful.
where the hell do you go to school? that's awesome.
Like it. Very simple and peaceful picture. Like someone said, could do with the batting cage being a tad closer.
thanks. yeah, i liked the bret winners one. though sunsets are overdone, thats why they didnt pick it i guess.
yeah tell me about... these are going on postcards i believe
thanks! that field is very surreal... you can see pretty much the whole santa cruz bay from there.
yeah, i wanted to capture the emptiness of the field that day, usually its really busy. thanks!
uc santa cruz... only for two more quarters then im gone, gonna miss it!
thanks. i tried to do another shot of that a few days after... but the skies werent as blue :/
that photo is meh... MEH
