What are the main advantages for fuel injection on a bike?

    Is the fuel economy better?
    How is the throttle response?
Does it need the same warmup time?

    better throttle response.
    no carbs to maintain.
    auto choke (except for Kawis).
arguably easier to tune with a Power Commander module.
smoother powerband, and in most cases, more power due to better base tuning.

FI is the best. Sucks if your battery dies, but other than that, no choke, better throttle responce, very reliable. You do need a little better throttle control with FI compared to carbs, but thats minimal.

They still need to be properly warmed up but you don't need to babysit the bike as much as it warms up.
