COMIC CBR on ubuntu?

    Hey guys, do any of you use ubuntu or another linux platform? I've recently made the change and am trying to find something that will read the format in it. any ideas or does anyone have something that will for sure work? thanks

    there are a couple programs if you look under the program manager there two I think one has a name like Geek or Freak or something

    thanks for the help. that almost worked, but it looks like one of the programs needed for comical to work, libwxtgx or something like that isnt working on my system. ill have to stick with switching to windows to read my cbrs

    have you tried the default document viewer? worked for me.

    Try comix. You should be able to get it from synaptic or whatever the Ubuntu package installer is called.

    It looks pretty good from the screenshots on their website.

    sweet. ironically, after the failed attempt at the first install, the files became viewable in the default image viewer. but i also just installed comix and it does look pretty good. lotta options. thanks to all jaime

    I'm glad this comix works. I will be going home in 3 days and when I get home I'm installing ubuntu (been gone months) .
