is there any way to force the case fan to stay at medium or high speed? 30 deg is the lowest setting allowed in the bios, but when the fan goes to low speed it gets unbearably loud. it runs fine at medium and high speed.

you can't use speedfan to control case fans because the fans are plugged directly into the power supply. it looks like you're talking about the heatsink fan? speedfan should let you control that.

If it is a case fan you can get a fan controller that fits in a floppy drive bay. But I have a feeling you arent really talking about a case fan.
