I have a basic IWB Uncle Mikes holster. I want to get something new. I was thinking the C.T.A.C or the Shirt tucker from Comp-Tac. Any other Ideas??

For me I prefer holsters similar to the Milt Sparks VM2. Although for my smaller autos I have a Comptac Pro-undercover, and a similar one made of leather from HBE that work great.

And make sure you don't get the J or C clips, they suck ass, and I have no experience with the V clip.

Standards work perfect for me, and no one notices them on a black belt when I wear a suit and tuck in.

I just talked to someone last weekend that recommended a ctac IRL as well. I think I might have to order one soon :)

looks like the one my old boss's friend has for his glock..he said you can't pull the gun out unless you pull straight up otherwise it won't budge so that way nobody can try and grab it off of you...

How are those on the finishes of the gun though? It looks rough. My buddy who got me into all the guns ect uses a some model nylon one that holds it really really close in to the body and it's a snap pullin out..I think he said it's the ones the sheriff marshalls use..have to ask tomorrow. It's real simple, I saw a bunch at the recent gun show for like $20

Do you have a gun belt yet? Not a thick belt, not a sturdy belt, but a real belt made expressely for carrying a holster on? If not buy that before you spend your money on a holster.

Honestly you just have to get over it and not think of it as damaging your precious. If you're going to holster a gun in leather or kydex its going to get its finished roughed up. Think of it as character and look at it with pride. I have yet to see a nylon IWB holster that I think does a good job compared to a "real" holster. Use caution ;)

I agree, I just can't seem to love kydex. Its cheap and quick to get but I don't find it as comfortable or concealable as good leather. Thats ymmv of course.

I have a milt sparks VM2 and Watch six, love them both. But get your order in now because it took me like 7 months to get my watch six... otherwise you'll have to find them used.

I just ordered two holsters from Galco. I can't even remember the names of them now for some reason. The one I got for my Para is awesome. I have another coming for my Glock that is an IWB holster. The Para gets to show off. ;)

The Galco holster I received (other is on backorder) is made extremely well and fits the gun perfectly.

Here is the holster for my Glock 26, it's called the 'Summer Comfort'.

Here is the other Glock 26 holster I have called the 'Ultra Deep Cover'.

Shoot, I can't find the holster for my Para. I forgot they discontinued it now. It was called the 'Avenger'.
