Whats up guys. I know this is more car audio, but I thought you guys might appreciate it too.

I know the screen install is a little iffy, but I have no bondo skills and this thing only costs me 20 dollars and took 20 minutes of my time.

I basically have everything running now, Im just waiting on a reasonably priced OBD2 product with some good software so I can really see what my car is doing at all times.

Heres what it currently can do:
    Play any type music file
    Play movies
    Play music videos
Connect to any unsecured wireless network
    Backup camera
    Voice activation
    GPS Navigation with voice prompts
    Play standard fm/am radio

    Things Im working on:
    Playing XM radio
    OBD2 Diagnostics

Hope you like it. Could you please post your pin on my map if you have the time, thanks!

my friend did this with a 15" LCD (the whole install is kind of a hack job though haha), and added the USB GPS piece for about $100, it works quite well, except when it's really cloudy. It's pretty cool. I may do that when I get extra cash (haha never) but with a 7" touchscreen.

Sirk, thats why Im keeping the exterior stock, so as to not attract attention. And looking in from outside, someone unfmailir with my car would think the screen came stock, so they wouldent even bother.

Destruction, 15 inches!!!!?? I gotta see pics of that. I wonder why he had a tough time getting locks when it was really cloudly. I always get 10-12 satallite locks, rain or shine. The reciver (its outside on my roof) can be covered with snow and will still work fine. If you want a nice 7" touchscreen, the brand I have, Xenarc are widely known as the best out there right now. But they are expensive. If you want something cheaper, Lilliput also has a nice one, but those are hit and miss. Some people report zero problems while the other half complain about dead pixels and other various problems.

Added a little video below the thumbnailed pics, just showing a quick overview of the computer playiing music, video, gps, and internet. It was shot with a digital camera, so quality isnt too good.
