I picked up a little green clean machine and am fairly impressed with it so far. I was wondering what you guys use to pre-treat the carpets before extracting? And for those of you with the lgcm, do you use the solution/water mix, or do you just clean the carpets with something else and use it to extract? Thanks.

Wooliite and water mixture. Buy the detergent kind and mix 8:1 with water in a spray bottle. Spray mix onto carpet and agitate with a brush. Let stand for 5 minutes. Use clean water in the Bissell to extract the mix from the carpet.

    You'll be happy.

Scott, I, and others do this same thing. I use a 4:1 mix to treat spots.

You can also try Folex for spot cleaning, most grocery stores carry it.
